Our Story
Smoke Shack started as a small food truck in 2010, run by pitmaster Chris Conger and his wife, Kate. Their southern-style barbecue quickly gained a following, and in 2014 they opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant in San Antonio.
Since then, the Smoke Shack family has grown to include the Pig Pen Neighborhood Bar (2015), the Delicatexan (2018), and a location at the San Antonio International Airport (2020). Through it all, the focus has stayed the same: high-quality barbecue, smoked low and slow over Texas post oak.
Now we're shipping our best-loved items nationwide, fully cooked and frozen, so you can enjoy real San Antonio barbecue wherever you are.
